Quickly and easily calculate the permissible leg loads for the ST 100 Shoring Tower

The ST 100 Stacking Tower Configurator is a quick and easy tool to help determine parameters for shoring structures. Precise permissible leg loads can be calculated as well as the minimum loads against sliding.

Both free-standing or restrained-at-the-top configruations can be calculated.  The output of the confirgurator includes a representation of the static system, the respective PERI ST 100 Stacking Tower configuration type, the max. spindle extensions and the permissible vertical leg loads Fv, and if applicable Fv,min in kN.

The tool enables the selection of comprehensive configuration variants for various head spindle types, the consideration of wind effects on the shoring and the use of diagonal bracings. This app provides solutions for tower heights between 1.8m and 22.29m.

Output is provided in PDF format for printing or sending via e-mail from application. A construction description for customers has been included into this datasheet.   Results are based on the Type Test TP-12-004 of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) and performance data from PERI.

Technical Information

The type calculation is based on the European standard DIN EN 12812 "Falsework - Performance requirements and general design" including National Annex. This standard regulates, among other things, requirements for proposals and application of shoring structures and includes procedures for their design.

Basis of the Calculation Results

Basis of the ST 100 Stacking Tower Configurator are the test report of the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt) in Berlin with number TP-12-004 from 21.11.2012 and the performance data of the shoring system PERI ST 100 Stacking Tower, which are to be taken from the assembly instructions for the shoring system PERI ST 100 Stacking Tower.

Knowledge of the standard and its terminology is required in order to apply the results of the ST 100 Stacking Tower Configurator.
